Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I schedule a time for the Carolers to come to my company
party?A: E-mail us and inform us about your company. Explain the date you would like the carolers to come, the place, and the time. We will get back to you with a quote and any other questions you may have regarding the performance.
Q: Do the Carolers perform at religious
functions, for example, religious parties or even sing in various
churches?
A: Yes. The carolers have been invited to multiple church
services, and other congregational parties.
Q: What if I want the Carolers to travel to
an area that is outside of the normal performing area.
A: We have traveled to various areas to bring the Christmas Spirit to
many. If you need us to travel to your area, e-mail us and let us
know what you are thinking. We'd be happy to give you an estimate
cost.
Q: How does my child audition for the Hands
in Harmony Carolers?
A: Auditions are simple. The person auditioning will need to come
with a rehearsed song and be prepared sight read, read script, and sing
with various harmony lines. E-mail us to set up an audition time.
Q: What is the practice schedule and fees
associated with my child being involved with Hands in Harmony?
A: The Carolers practice twice a week for two hours each class, which
adds up to four hours each week. As we near performance season,
other rehearsals may be required.
Workshops are also held in which professionals in the musical theater
industry teach the students acting and vocal skills. Practices
begin in September and run through November. Once December
arrives, the Carolers will perform multiple times during the week.
For an example of the performance schedule, please see the
calendar.
The cost is $300 per Caroler. This cost includes all class time
and costume rental fees. Tuition waivers may be available depending
on past experience and talent.
Q: How many Carolers are in the group?
A: The Hands in Harmony Carolers consist of 12 - 15 Carolers.
Because of the small size of the group, we select only students who have
the talent and potential to be in an acapella group.
